Compact and high-performance: Sharp’s MFP Solutions for Small Offices

Sharp’s MFPs offer small offices and private users optimal performance in the smallest space possible. The portable AL-1035 provides its users with mobility and its extremely simple operation. The other MFPs in the AL series* were given a new look and additional functions.

 

Sharp means mobility – with the AL-1035

It can be used flexibly during customer meetings, at events or on business trips. The AL-1035 is ideal for mobile use at different workplaces. Its practical carrying handle and low weight make it easy to transport. The little all-rounder also excels for occasional use on the store counter in small shops. After all, it can easily be stored away nearly anywhere when it’s not being used.

‘Our MFPs are always put to use wherever speed and simplicity are called for’, explains Franco Fiedler, Information Systems Product Manager at Sharp Electronics Germany/Austria. Sharp’s ID card scanner can be used to scan all cards in credit card format in colour from both sides and print them out on a page in a single step. Two USB 2.0 ports and the ‘scan to USB’ function make it possible to save scanned documents or images directly onto a connected USB stick.
The portable device is equipped with nearly all of the extended functions of a full-value MFP and is child’s play to operate, thanks to the well-arranged display.

Everywhere is enough space for Sharp’s AL series

The visual redesigning and expansion of the existing AL series’ functions strike a nerve with the customers. After all, the modern look and slim dimensions of the AL-2021, AL-2041, AL-2051 and AL-2061 models allow them to fit seamlessly into any office environment and the models' many practical functions simplify office work.
 
The card scanner and ‘scan to USB’ function have been introduced as standard series features for the AL devices. The E-Sort electronic sorting function automatically compiles multiple copy sets true-to-the-page without the support of a sorter. The additional shifter function transfers the individual copy sets while they are being dispensed, thus considerably simplifying access once again.

Sharp’s standard network printing solution makes it easy to incorporate the MFPs in an existing corporate network. This saves time-consuming configuration work. Furthermore, the integrated fax function can be relied upon for quickly sending copies and scans outside of the company.

A star for the environment

Sharp strives to achieve the highest possible degree of environmental compatibility in the development and production of its appliances in order to conserve resources and protect the environment. This is why the AL series' multi-function products possess a wide range of positive environmental properties. The toner saving mode lowers toner density during the copying process, thus saving money by reducing toner consumption. All models are equipped with automatic power cut-off and preheating mode in order to reduce energy consumption. So it's not without reason that the models have been awarded the ‘Energy Star’ environmental label.  This way, Sharp multi-function products don’t just promote environmentally conscious printing, they help their users perform printing tasks more cost-effectively.
